But we’re not always about taking it slow. Less time to spare? Pop in for a week day lunch or a quiet moment with a pint or even a coffee. We are dog friendly in our bar areas only.

Delightful staff. I had a salad and the lettuce could have been presented better. It could have been cut up/ shredded so that it looked more attractive to eat. My husband had the pie and said that the crust was very hard. It’s a shame to be let down by small details.
Honestly, the staff are what make this place! Julie and her team are masters of customer service. It felt so welcoming and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the daily freshly baked cookies were a lovely touch! The bar is well stocked and the food very good. One of the best veggie roasts I've ever had on Sunday evening. The cost of our stay was excellent value for money and the place itself is in a lovely area of Sheffield about 25 minutes in a taxi from the Utilita Arena where we were going to an event costing about £15. Thank you Julie and team for making our stay so lovely
If you're looking for best fish and chips then this is your go-to place! Beer battered fish, and chips tasted fresh, light and great. Above all, a great service provided by Simon. Highly recommended!!!
The food was of great quality. Our large table was provided for well - all food came out at similar times. Service was great and staff were warm & polite. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Highchair could have been more clean.
We recently booked for a Christmas dinner. We had asked for the side room. When we arrived it took ages for anyone to even serve us for drinks . I was trying to ask a staff member something but was totally ignored. When it got to our meal time the side room was in use by someone else. When we did eventually ask we was told we had been moved. Then everything was running late. The food When we got it was good but not exceptional. Felt our booking should never have been taken as it was too busy to accommodate us properly. And also there was only about 3 bar / waiting staff for busy pub . We did get some money of final bill. But the girl seemed to struggle to work it out.
