Everyone’s favourite strangely-named pub, Bungalows and Bears has been a staple for good food, good drink and good music for over a decade. Housed in an Old Fire Station, our unique building has seen all manner of events, with a previous guest-list featuring everything from Swedish rappers to world renowned DJ Talent on our small stage. We hope you come visit sometime!.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and the venue itself is great. I don't know if there was a staffing shortage but the food we ordered was luke warm at best when we got it, and the server apologised to another table for the slow service. Other than that everything was great
I was in Sheffield on Wednesday with a few mates, so called in here for a couple of drinks. A lovely chilled out atmosphere, and a lad called Tom was brilliant behind the bar. He was chatty and made us feel welcome, even recommending a couple of drinks we had never tried before. Will definitely be going again.
This is a great bar in the centre of Sheffield on devision street. I’ve eaten here once and the food was lovely along with great service and a clean environment. I like the way the bar is decorated and they have a great drinks selection. All the staff are super friendly, it’s well managed with them putting some great music on at night during the weekend! I would recommend visiting here definitely :)
Nice vibrant pub. Very friendly staff, drinks and food good value for money. Had great Evening family meal, food was fresh and very tasty. Staff so polite and gave a excellent table services.
Where to begin? On arrival there was no one around to ask for our reserved table so we had to search the venue and eventually found it ourselves. Instantly my daughter remarked on how her arms were sticking to the table. Clearly the spilled alcohol had never been properly cleaned off. My daughter went to order and after telling the staff member our food order she double checked with him because it seemed too cheap and he had missed off our starters. That corrected we waited for the food which in fairness didn't take long however they brought both our starters and mains at the same time! We had ordered a large cheese garlic bread to share with our mains however we were brought 2 slices of burned garlic bread in a bowl (see pic) Since we had paid 5.50 we asked if this was correct and were told the staff member was only a week into their job and had ordered the £1 side instead. This still didn't explain why it was so dry and burnt. The correct item swiftly followed (we hadn't been charged correctly so technically it was now free but we didn't eat the burnt one) but as we had been eating our starters whilst our mains were sat there going cold it really wasn't a great experience. Nearly £60 spent for a disappointing meal and a diet coke each. If you want to listen to excessively loud music and swill alcohol around then this is the place for you. Anything more than that I'd look elsewhere.
