A Marstons community pub with brilliant value for money food and drink. Large dog friendly area inside. Over 300 outside seats in our south facing beer garden. Situated right next to manvers lake and the penine trail.
Great cosey family and friends restaurant. Nice to grab a beer with friends with some loaded fries, nacho's and wings. Walked back in after I left just for the Apple custard custard and a large Coffee.
Harley and kayleigh have done an amazing job on this place! The turn around speaks for itself! We were served by the lovely Heidi, who is always happy, chatty and makes you feel so warm and welcome! The whole team are incredible, and an asset to marstons! Just popped in for a lovely meal. We had ordered 3 steaks and a mixed grill. All steaks were cooked differently and all came out exactly as we wanted! The uniformity of the cuts of meat and the quality of the food was incredible! The portion sizes are also extremely generous for the price. Every time we've been in, the level of service is impeccable. This place definitely beats other local pubs on food and service! Keep it up guys. One very happy customer :)
Can’t fault this pub! The food is great, the drinks are great and the staff can’t be anymore helpful! They even do live music on some weekends and the atmosphere is so comfortable, not to mention my dog Betty who loves to visit and have a treat! I recommend a visit! 🎶🍺🐶
Came in the one of the hottest days of the year. Staff weren't phased by it. Food came quite quickly and massive portions. Was not expecting a giant fish amongst my chips. Other party had also the same, large portions for reasonable prices. The best was the strawberry refresher was just beautiful. Really nice experience.
Stopped for a full roast dinner today, definitely worth it! Paid a little extra to have two meats (beef & turkey) and very tasty it was! Pint of shandy to go with it made for a lovely Sunday lunch.
