Arrived at 5.30 for tea on Saturday. Pub is bright and clean with lots of places to sit , some of the chairs are worn and shabby but the general appearances are good really friendly attentive staff. I ordered jerk chicken skewers with rice and veg other meal was Mediterranean chicken with chips and salad. Both came quite quickly 10-15 minute wait . The skewers had generous chunks of chicken which were nicely spiced. Fresh vegetables fried off with garlic and a good portion of rice really enjoyed would recommend

Went in a group of 5 for lunch. Ordered the mixed grill as it was small bits of everything. Others ordered chicken burger and fish and chips. The mixed grill was OK, hard to eat as you don't get a plate and have to chop the meat. The steak was cooked a perfect medium, the gammon was hard and tasteless but the chicken was very nice. The sausage was uneaten as very cheap and peppery. Shame about the rest though, the chips were undercooked and inion rungs were just soggy. The chicken burger was apparently nice but chips undercooked. Fish and chips tasted nice, very small portion. I wouldnt rush back.

Easy to order food. Came out fast. Really nice food. Happy, friendly staff. Joe the manager is lovely and helpful. Talked us through the app and all the freebies you can get. The food was great.

Lovely little pub and the people that run it are so friendly, welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Food is lovely. However, the steak can be a bit hit and miss, particularly the rump it can be quite fatty. Other than that, everything else is spot on!!

Just started going back here recently and it is under new management which you can really tell. The manager is a super guy who is great with customers. The place was full on a midweek night and they had a lovely entertainer doing Irish bingo. The food was great and piping hot, and the service was fantastic. The food came pretty quick considering it was so busy. Will definitely be visiting more regularly now. Well done to the manager and all the lovely staff!
