Why we love Rotherham
Our restaurant is the gateway to the wonderment of South Yorkshire and its countless attractions. Travel 20 minutes from us to discover what was once Europe’s largest, privately owned residence, Wentworth Woodhouse. Oozing elegance, wander through stunning gardens and beautiful Palladian architecture. Whilst you’re there, drive down the road to Wentworth village where you’ll find a quintessentially English setting – think picture-postcard.
Six minutes by car from us, step back in time at Clifton Park and Museum to retrace the rich history of Rotherham, through weird and wonderful exhibits and collections. Travel 25 minutes and you’ll get closer to nature at the RSPB Old Moor nature reserve. A wetland set over 220 acres, the area is filled with the finest and rarest birds you’ll see here in Britain. Other captivating points of interest include Roche Abbey, Thrybergh Country Park, Rotherham Minster, Boston Castle and much more. What a brilliant lunch with my friends, food was great its also a bonus having table service and refill cokes. Our server Alison was really friendly and very patient as we decided what we wanted and we will definitely be back
Beautiful food, the festive menu was fantastic and great value for the money! The waiter was very friendly and helpful which made our experience even better!
Food was ok little bit expensive for what it is burgers had a lovely taste french fries a bit over cooked hot desert pie was microwaved this spoilt it steak was a bit fatty and the chunky chips a bit greasy but nice taste But the ladies that served me during my two day visit were amazing think it was Vicky and Jess couldn't do enough to help and friendly good old northern hospitality thank u ladies
Food was bland. The service was friendly but go order wrong and most people had finished their order by the time my food came. In fair I did get offered a free beer.
Stayed in the Premier Inn next door and had two good meals here - dinner and breakfast. Tasty food and excellent customer service. Recommend the steak for dinner!
