Traditional locals' pub close to the M1, junction 35, Thorpe hesley Cricket Club ground and Smithy Wood.
Can't recommend this place enough. Great staff ,friendly customers and cater for events.

Proper pub! Landlord and staff are all great folk, kids and dogs welcome, pool table, stone baked pizzas, brilliant atmosphere and quality ale!
Since changing ownership this pub has gone from strength to strength. Great selection of beer and not mention the home cooked pizzas..... five stars, keep up the good work O nearly forgot to mention the beet garden, great to take the kids while they have a play in the sun.
