Lively old local close to the church. Often busy on weekend evenings. The changing guest beer is not always available. There is live music at the weekend plus a popular open mic night during the week. It is situated close to the 40 bus stop and is a short walk from the 227 stop. Handy for Greasbrough Dams and walks through the Wentworth estate. There is a collection of vinyl records and music sheets on one wall.
Nice friendly pub, always get a game of pool, good bar staff and a decent pint.
Called in made welcome lovely pub
Classic pub with a great beer garden and a grass area with swings and stuff for the kids even has a baby swing
Reit crowd and amazing staff!! Music (Dale Patrick) absolutely mint, reit voice! Big lad with bald head and shirt could sing too.... Packed local boozer!! Top night xx
A proper village pub with a homely interior, warm and welcoming management and great clientele to boot. For the authentic Northern pub experience you can do so much worse than this gem of s61. The lines are cleaned regularly which guarantees a brilliant pint. There's a well situated pool table, clean toilet facilities and in summer the beer garden is a delight.
