The Blue Bell is a traditional country pub, around 300 years old
A single entrance door off the High Street leads to two large rooms served by one bar, with a warming open fire for winter days. Three real ales are available. The local morris men can often be seen dancing outside the pub on bank holidays. Food is served Sunday lunchtime and in the evenings. A discount is given to card carrying camra members. A large childrens play area to the rear of the pub.Beer and music festivals are also run.

Super little pub. Stopped by after a walk in the area - Sunday lunch was spot on. Would definitely recommend / return.
A great traditional village pub. Well-worth the 70 minute drive!
Lovely host and very helpful.....the food needs much improving, in my opinion. I ate at lunch....maybe dinner is better??
Attended a buffet wedding reception here and can highly recommend. The buffet was outstanding with lots of choices, well presented and catered well for any social dietary requirements. Inside is small but cosy and in the summer the beer garden is very nice for enjoying the outdoor sunshine.
Food absolutely fabulous value. service fabulous 2 young girls which one was her first night exceptional and a young man behind the bar equally as good. Would recommend and already have fantastic Wednesday evening.
