Great service and good selection of ales n beers. Mad our coronation weekend, well done to all at the Carps.
Top village pub . Clean tidy and well run . Went there Wed night to play pool . One word of warning . If AJ is doing the cooking keep away from the chilli 🌶 😒
Unfortunately I have to change my review. This pub once had a pulse, and I loved it. Today I went in, and followed the instructions for lighting their wood stove, which were printed and placed next to it. The landlord came at me with expletives that I'd done something his own instructions in writing allowed me to do. Disappointing. Hopefully they go bust and have new owners soon.
A fabulous pub. We held a reception at the Carpenters' Arms. Karen and her team did a fabulous job. The food was excellent, generous quantities and reasonably priced. It's a really great place, it's friendly and cosy and got a great atmosphere. A truly fabulous pub which is steeped in tradition.
