A pleasant pub overlooking the marina. There is a popular caravan site also next to the pub.The owners are very friendly. There is a marina opposite the pub which makes it an haven for boaters.
The meals now are as a steak house and grill. Three ales on apart from the winter period when it drops to two.

Enjoyed an outstanding meal today with family and friends at this local pub, which has been greatly transformed & rejuvenated by new ownership. The staff were genuinely welcoming, enhancing the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, each dish a delightful experience. A subtle addition of a background music system like Freespace, would make this already fantastic venue even more exceptional. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience.
As a fool, I did not book a table. (Friday Evening) Many a place would have turned you away. But not this establishment. They explained the situation clearly and gave an approximate time that we'd have to wait. (45 mins) and to the minute our order was taken. The 3 difference dishes were served at the same time perfectly. All 3 dishes were delicious. Steak, Duck, and Ratatouille. We were offered a free round of drinks or desserts for our wait. When it was my fault, not theirs. Lovely hosts and lovely food.
My 82 year old father brought his sister and husband for a meal only to be issues with a £100 fine parking fine! When he contested it the ownerwas very rude and put the phone on him stating he should have read the notice board. When he rang the cotractors they did the same. Totally discussed that you would fine paying pensioners for parking let's face it how many people would think to look for a notice board. Maybe you should ask people if they have registered their car when taking their order! None if us will be visiting again !
