Doncaster Summer Pub of The Season 2012, town centre pub with an Irish feel, serves food including breakfast. There is a small drinking area inside the front entrance, then a long narrow room beyond the bar, where diners can eat in a comfortable setting. Live jazz on the first Saturday in the month. Opposite Frenchgate shopping centre, next to Church Way inner ring road.

My experiences here have consistently been delightful. One of my personal highlights of The White Swan is its lively Tuesday nights, featuring a bustling pool team that adds a spirited energy to the pub. The competitive yet friendly atmosphere makes for an entertaining evening, whether you're a participant or a spectator. From what it was you can see the dedication and effort put in by its owners and staff, It's clear that they take pride in creating an environment where patrons can unwind and enjoy themselves. However, there's one small drawback, the lack of a card machine. In an age where electronic payments are the norm, not having this option can be a slight inconvenience. Despite this, the owners and staff handle transactions with efficiency and understanding, but having a card machine would undoubtedly enhance the overall customer experience.
First time I've gone in this pub. Much nicer that I'd expected. Lovely beer garden.
Nice little pub on the gateway into town centre. Long galley with a stage in the middle, great for the open Mic night every fortnight on a Thursday. Some great talent.
