The Forester’s opened in 1912 and retains two rooms, darts, pool and snooker are played in the back room where there’s a traditional snooker score board. The front room hosts occasional live music with Motown and soul nights. The pictures of old Doncaster that adorn the walls are always fascinating.
The pub is well known for food, Sunday lunches are very popular, curry night Thursday and steak night with background music on Saturdays.
A ramp is available for wheelchair access, just ask.
Buses on routes 50 and 50A stop nearby and Adwick station is five minutes’ walk away.

Went for Sunday lunch as it had been recommended. Didn't disappoint. Large portion, 5 different vegetables, huge yorkshire pudding and incredibly reasonably priced. The delivery side was very busy too. Booking recommended.
