Great pub. Very competitive prices (cheapest in Llantwit). Great atmosphere. No better place to have a few drinks in Llantwit or the in the wider area.
Booked the space for a work Christmas gathering and the team at the pub went over and above to welcome us and embraced the festivities! We even had a few surprises thrown in which were very much enjoyed! Everyone had a great time - thank you, we look forward to coming back soon! 😊
Fantastic atmosphere and really good food been twice in the last month and have not been disappointed staff really helpful and couldn't of ask for more
The King's Head had got very run down and the beer and lager was not good either. It has a new landlord and has been decorated and cleaned up, so while we were in Llantwit Major yesterday afternoon we decided to call in for a pint to see what it's like now. It's a real transformation, nicely decorated with new furniture and carpets, and spotless as well. I had a pint of Carling, which was really good and at £3.40 a pint can't fault it. We went into the bar and was pleased to see some of the old regulars back, (they had deserted the pub a good few years ago). If we still lived in Llantwit we would be going there often. Probably the best pub in Llantwit now.
