A traditional community pub, popular with local people, families, visitors and tourists. Multi-roomed off a bar at one end of the front, there is also plenty of outdoor space. Light and fairly cheery decor. A friendly atmosphere, attracts people of all ages. Often quiet but can be noisy when busy. The handpumps usually have Brain's bitter and Marston's Pedigree for traditional ale. An completely ordinary range of other drinks with limited premium or higher quality offers. Some craft type beer for those who like it, and some wine choices.
Myself and my girlfriend Anna enjoyed going to the pub. The owners make us feel welcome and the staff are friendly behind the bar. The jukebox lights up the mood
Lovely veggie Sunday roast, huge portions, lots of vegetables, creamy mash, roast potatoes, parsnips, veggie gravy and jam sponge for desert. Friendly staff and good home cooking.
Such a lovely pub! Very yummy Sunday dinner, good big portion, efficient and very well priced! Lovely staff, super welcoming and friendly! We also love just popping in for a pint too - can’t fault it and would definitely recommend!
