A lovely little park tucked away behind Barry town centre. My little one loves running around from one activity to the next which is safe to do as it's gated in and it's not been too busy when we have visited.
A nice little park with a green flag award. Has a nice seating area and playground for children to play on. Located in the town centre next to the library.
Delightful little park if not extremely busy. There's a couple of grass areas within the park, one or two chess tables, which are shaded by large trees in the afternoon. Wheelchair access is at the entrances adjacent to the library as the other one is steps only. Parking is directly next to the park (pay and display). It's also possible to park along the side of Iceland if there are spaces. There is also a hard surfaced basketball court which is ok in condition. Ideal for Smaller children, most of the features are aimed for their use. Within business hours, the toilets next to the main entrance for the library can be used. There is also a disabled toilet for which you will ask for a key, as well as baby-changing facilities. I believe dogs are allowed if kept on lead of course. The park play area has sprung gates to ensure dogs don't enter
Recently came here for the walk through lights. Amazing evening.
They seem to have renovated this park again and it looks great. Surprisingly a very quiet park considering it's size but good fun for the little one. Could do with a rubbish pin nearby and would be nice if the basketball court had nets fitted. Otherwise a good quality and we'll maintained park.
