What a gem of a find! Lovely urban pub but such a warm friendly atmosphere and welcome from staff. Great menu, food was absolutely delicious. We had Fish & Chips, Macaroni Cheese with bacon and Jacket potato with cheese & beans. Chef delivered our food and was chatty and a good laugh. Will definitely be back!

A fabulous New Year’s Eve Party at the Shepherds Rest Taunton. An enjoyable night with Disco, great atmosphere, company, and drinks. Really friendly and Helpful bar staff and top Chef. Can’t wait for the Next New Year’s party. Thanks Carl & Heather.
Visited Friday evening for the first time. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Had the steak and ale pie - absolutely fab! Best we've had in a long time. Thank you - we will be back!
Had the loveliest time coming to this pub for food after my shifts at the local hospital. Always a great atmosphere, super friendly staff and a big shout out to Simon the Chef who always tries to help accommodate my food sensitivities. Legends!
