Nice friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. The food is excellent, can't fault it. The room is good, but the bathroom could be upgraded. Staff always make you feel very welcome 🙏

Had a meal there. Easy to book via email or phone and a very efficient and polite service. The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming, and the roast dinner we had was just delicious. Highly recommended 👌

Stayed for a couple of nights - Rooms - Had a double on the ground floor it was a little tired but it was spacious, comfortable & cleaned to a very good standard. Good size wardrobe & even room for a small table & two chairs. The bathroom was of a good size but could also do with a refresh as again a little tired. Provided tea/coffee & the all important biscuits! Service - All staff were friendly & welcoming from our arrival to our departure. The kind lady who cleaned our room was full of knowledge about the area which was very useful to us. I can say that she cleaned our to a very good standard despite being short staff on the days we were staying. The evening meals were both enjoyable & good value. I preferred eating in the bar area as it had more warmth & character something they could improve in restaurant. Breakfast was a little disappointing as on the website it showed breakfast menu which was comprehensive. Unfortunately on arrival we were told it would be a buffet breakfast but was told they had vegetarian options. On our first morning we arrived for breakfast- hot buffet bacon, sausages, tomatoes & mushrooms. The scrambled eggs were not a good experience. No Danish pastries or boiled were left which was a disappointing. You can make yourself toast & drinks. They provided plenty of cearal, fruit & yoghurts. As we were leaving on the second day we thought we would try the breakfast again. It was better standard than the previous morning we had baked beans, mushrooms & fried egg and they appear to have the rest of the breakfast supplies which was missing the previous day. The lady who cooked our eggs was very warm friendly. The cost of breakfast is a additional cost so I do feel they do need to update the website as it wasn't value for money & very restricted. As a vegetarian very limited & disappointing. Location- it was a great location and easy drive from the M5 with a free large car park.
