A grade II listed building on the CAMRA register as "An historic pub interior of regional importance". A small and very friendly pub with fantastic views over the town.
Hidden under a trapdoor, or so it is said, is an entrance to Frome's legendary tunnels. As with many of the town's pubs, cider is the main tipple of the locals.
Quirky, one- off. @1960s time capsule. Great views. Live music every 2 weeks
This place is lost and time and may it always stay that way. So lovely to find a old fashioned boozer like this
What can I say? £3.30 for a pint of strong real cider and half a coke? Is this 1999 or has time passed this place by? Excellent. A hidden gem and rarity these days. Real character's too. Generation Z relish and enjoy while you can. A true time capsule.
If you want a traditional, old fashioned, friendly, homely pub this is the place to go. Without doubt a national treasure. If you like pubs as they were in past times you have to visit. A jewel. There aren't many of this kind of pub left. I love it.
Brilliant place for a few rough pints of cider in a traditional old boozer. Prices are decent.
