Despite a few hiccups booking our table for seven, we had a lovely lunch. Although only 2 front of house staff were available, we had excellent service at the bar and waited no longer than expected for food. Both staff were very friendly and helpful. For a Monday lunchtime we were surprised how busy the pub was. All in all, with a reasonable bill, we had a good experience.

Went for Sunday roast first time visiting. Had to wait for our food, but to be fair we was told about this before we ordered and it wasnt that long either. The food was excellent nice atmosphere lovely big pub. Glad we went and when we are back in Derbyshire will go again.
Always a lovely place to visit. Ordered a meal I've had before and when it arrived it was very small, ask the waiter if it was a kids meal as I was shocked and the response was lacking to say the least. Apart from that it was a great experience.
Had the Hunter's Chicken with a gammon on the bottom. Was beautiful. Great service beautiful scenery. Quality food.
