We had a good stay at the Smithton. Breakfast was tasty and staff are friendly. The mattress in the room was not that comfortable. A pub is located on the premises, nice to have a drink as there is nothing to do in the surrounding area.
Great little room, very clean, great shower. Peter saved our bacon with an electric car snafu, so thankful!! He and the staff were all amazing, kind and helpful. Great little spot.
Great hotel. Not the most poshest hotel you’ll stay at but it has everything you need. Bloke on reception could have been a bit more friendly but the guy doing the breakfast was really friendly. Great breakfast, best we had in Scotland.
My wife and I spent one night at the Smithton Hotel and truly enjoyed it. We agreed that it seemed more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. It was small, intimate and charming. The staff were amazingly courteous and helpful from the time we walked in the door. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant because we were too tired to go out. The food, service and company were all first rate; try the mushroom stroganoff! It was delicious! We would absolutely, 100 percent stay at this hotel again. ❤️
Lovely hotel located in a peaceful and beautiful part of Inverness. You can easily get to the city center from a bus stop close to the building. Rooms are spacious, very clean and you’ve got everything what’s needed. We had a super delicious Scottish breakfast and we’re greeted by the host who gave us lots of useful tips for the rest part of our holidays.
