Another pub I'd never been in and it was a surprise big inside great atmosphere good music prices reasonable over all a good time
Fantastic venue and really great seeing a local venue supporting the Terrance Higgins Trust for Worlds Aids Day. Jack behind the bar is superb offering a great service and also very happy & cheerful constantly.
Probably would have been alright with customers. Most drinks in cans than in draught. Thought we would try after refurb but not really changed.
Great pub and amazing staff. The new management have really been brought up to standard with new alcoholic beverages available too. Highly recommended
I have a nostalgic connection to this pub, otherwise it would probably receive 1-2 stars. This is very much a locals pub and I've seen many a fight in here over the last 15+ years. Saying that, I've also had many a good time in here. The pub has a big fridge full of cans, which quite a few people drink. There's a pool table and has shown live sports in the past - not sure about right now, as last few times I've visited there has been no sport to be shown.
