A friendly welcome. Lovely to sit outside in the summer and have a swift half before taking away a carton (contact before if wanting a larger box). Cracking traditional beer offering. I love the Best- very drinkable - and Black in the winter. Great atmosphere.
A quick visit for a takeaway, 4 pints of Platinum and 4 of IPA. was tempted by the cheese 🧀 board on offer tonight, next time maybe. Did I ever mention they have a fully air conditioned bar? The layout of the Taproom has changed slightly. Visited again June 30 I'm sure the layout has changed again or maybe it's the effect of the great beers 🍻 the outside space is now completely covered for the winter period so plenty of room to enjoy the ales. Following our White Star run around the local area we dropped in for refreshments. Really friendly and excellent real ale. When we visited there was live music which was also great. They also sell takeaway cartons which is definitely worth taking some home.
Delightful micro brewery on an old farm in the wilds of Dorset. Great beers and peaceful setting. Loads of outdoor space so no need to worry that the bar is very small. On top of all this they have a lively entertainment programme. When we went they had an open microphone afternoon with some very good musicians including the amazing Fleetwood Unchained.
Just visited the Tap Room of Sixpenny Brewery and was highly impressed. Excellent real ales served in a small bar area that oozes atmosphere. There is also the possibility of having equally good pizzas from the adjacent bakery. Plenty of parking space and a large forecourt for eating outside if preferred. Add to the above a jolly and welcoming service with dogs welcome and this venue is highly recommended!
