Lovely food, loved the decor, very Christmas and cozy, artwork that fit the restaurant theme was really cool Food was lovely, had an offer which made it great value too! A little expensive if paying full price, but great with an offer. Lovely service.
Rude staff - barley acknowledged our existence. We asked for sauces and never received them as the young lad was either watching TV or serving the table next to us - nice that they got what they asked for! Food wasn't very nice, smothered chicken was very rubbery and had a handful of chips with it so portion size was small. Half roast chicken and fries was adequate. Mixed grill was the biggest disappointment of all three meals we had. Large egg shells left on the egg which I'm sure my sister's boyfriend ate a piece before realising. Unsure how it left the kitchen like that. Sausages had a weird taste to them. Meat was okay. Wasn't asked once how our food was - would have asked for it to be sent back to the kitchen. Wouldn't rush back. Worst Beefeater I've been to. Was considering coming here for breakfast as we are here for the weekend but we've decided not to not after this experience. Very disappointed.
We ordered the mixed grill and the grilled king prawns. The food looked lovely but the beef in the mixed grill was rare, not medium rare as requested. As for the grilled king prawns, sad to say the food was cold - the flatbread was cold and hard, so were the prawns. Prawns, although grilled, should be tender, not tough! It's poor cooking at most. The salad was also missing from it and we had to remind them. The chunky chips were warm enough. Also, after having finished our starters, we had to wait a very long time before the main course was served. It was hard trying to get the attention of the servers to remind them we had finished our starters and ready for the mains. They were that busy. Btw, I would like to suggest some nice, quieter music to be played instead of disco music as dining out meant having a nice, cosy chat too and not having to compete with the music that is meant for dancing. A request to head chef and head waiter: please send the food to the tables as soon as they are cooked. It's disappointing to eat food that is cold, especially a birthday meal.
Dinner, I'm not sure if it was bad timing, but there were so many people at the bar, and it was so loud. Had ribs and chicken, the ribs had way too much seasoning that it took away the meat flavours. However, I loved the sticky toffee pudding. The waitress I had was amazing, the speed and service I couldn't fault.
Fantastic service if there is any issues the staff try to resolve straight away. The food is really good and great portion size. The all you can eat breakfast is superb also. Lots of choice and food cooked really well when ordered to your table. Would recommend
