Been here a few times for food and drinks and has always been amazing every time, treated the family this weekend and they were really pleased with the food options, quality and portion sizes. Roast dinners are incredible. Staff are really friendly and will do what they can to accommodate you.
Had a good night nice clean pub, great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Lovely place and nice drinks. I had a Mixed grill, rump steak, gammon steak, BBQ chicken wings, pork sausage and eggs, with skin-on chips and garden peas (t). 17.50. the chicken wings were dry no BBQ sauce or seasoning. The steak and gammon was nice but small. Only 1 egg and peas were dry. My son didn't like his mash so he didn't eat it. But he did like the chicken nuggets. Pie and chips were great 😃.
Had Sunday lunch here. Initial impression wasn't great, the lady finding us a table on their system was a little offish with us and the place is a little run down if you look closely. However, really enjoyed the food. Its very good quality for the price they charge. The young lad who waited on us was wonderful, couldn't be more helpful or polite.
This is a stunning place, absolutely spotlessly clean throughout.. Colin and Carly were perfect hosts. Refurbished 2 years ago to a very high standard and has a huge capacity indoor and outdoor seating / eating area with children's play area with climbing frame... Very large carpark Unfortunately it is raining today but this place would be a great place to sit and enjoy the sunny weather with the kids. There is a traditional open fire for the cosy nights and cold days Extended selection of flavoured gins (photo). Everywhere in this pub is of a really standard including the food.. I'm privy to go in the areas you can't see and chef has the right stuff no question... Spotlessly clean with everything labelled / monitored and recorded. Everything you'd expect for a professional kitchen... I was really impressed with chefs high standards. All in all a beautifully decorated building, really pleasant owners and staff.... Serving great food. A place I would be happy to recommend 😎
Absolutely fantastic place! We were staying in a local hotel and spur of the moment decided to come here for a bite to eat and I'm glad we did. The service here was impeccable, friendly and full of smiles. The menu has a great selection and the food itself was delicious! It is dog friendly and has a great outdoor area for kiddos.
