A really lovely old fashioned Shropshire country pub, full of interesting and friendly local folk, good beer, and when the summer comes, the garden and views over the valley and Brown Clee will be stunning! Even in the depths of winter it was a great call.

As previously stated, a proper no frills pub. Very friendly and dog friendly. Mild, lager and cider on tap, plus Butty Bach and HPA in bottles. Very reasonable prices.

Proper pub run by the same family for 3 generations. Mild on tap, really friendly welcome and a good seat by the coal fire. Not sure if they were open initially but very glad we stopped to check
