Popped in for a Sunday roast and was really impressed. The Roast was delicious and great value for money we also had dessert which was lovely and again value for money. Staff were great and very friendly. Definitely be back again if in the area. Also a great Yorkshire pudding 😀
As a general rule Ludlow is not a cheap place to eat out. This pub was much cheaper than many and very good value and quality. A proper Lasagne £15.95, Belly Pork £15.95, plenty of veg. Trio of ice cream £4.95, bread and butter pudding (large helping!) £6.95, pint of Butty Bach £4.35, lime and soda £2.50. Busy atmosphere and very friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend.
Great pub! Popped in here after the food and drink festival Saturday night to watch the rugby and have a few drinks. Then ended up going back on Sunday afternoon for a roast beef dinner which was beautiful it came with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, new potatoes, a bowl of veg, a bowl of cauliflower cheese and they bought us an extra gravy boat upon request. We will definitely return!
Great staff lovely pub and nicely decorated, food was quick and tasty lovely place to go for a Sunday dinner Will add photos later
A clean and well presented pub. The food is of a good standard with a menu that is not too extensive to facilitate higher quality food. Real ale, cider, wine, spirits and lager are available to drink alongside a range of soft drinks. The service is friendly and attentive although there did appear to be a concern about the technology during my visit from certain staff members. There was plenty of seating, clean toilets and an area to the back of the pub for smokers to use. Dogs are welcome in the bar area with the hard floor. Well worth a visit for a drink and or a meal.
