A great Country pub, with fantastic atmosphere, great choice of food and drinks- always served with very friendly and helpful group of staff!! đ From planned events to a quick drink, or a lovely meal, nothing is ever too much trouble, the shoes definitely never disappoints!! Highly recommend!!
Great pub! Good beer and food. The beef on a Sunday was amazing! Also excellent service from the staff. We will definitely be returning.
Came here as heard good things from others, to say we were disappointed was an understatement! Food was a massive let down, roast potatoes were hard, lamb was just all fat, cauliflower cheese was watery and rock hard same as the broccoli. The sticky toffee pudding⌠you couldnât put a fork or spoon through it. However staff were absolutely lovely and no faults with them but definitely wonât be coming back for the Sunday roast, would give 0 stars for food if I could.
Excellent Sunday lunch enjoyed with a very good quality of meats and selection available. Very cosy pub with a very lovely atmosphere. Oh what a view too !! Christmas festive menu looks amazing and so will definitely be back to try.
We got there before opening time but there was a lovely view from the car park and on a sunny day it was quite pleasant. Once they opened the barman was lovely.
