Fantastic traditional pub. Excellent selection of well-kept real ales. Open log fire and friendly staff. Varied snd friendly clientele. Great New Year's eve!

Great selection of real ales and cold tap lagers. There's also a great open mic night on a tuesday evening
Delicious beer, cider, mead. Well kept and curated. An interesting selection with something for everyone. Low percentage and alcohol free beers too. Brilliant and knowledgeable service. This pub doesn't serve food but you could bring your own pizza from the vaults down the road!
We had an absolutely lovely time at this place! There were plenty of group games and books to keep larger groups entertained. The pints were also fairly cheap. The bartender was nice and polite, and the bathroom was clean and well decorated. Will definitely return again
