This small, multi-roomed city centre pub, a former coaching inn, dates from the early 1800's. It is a Samuel Smiths establishment with a traditional style. Cheap and cheerful with a bar area and 3 rooms, 1 large, 1 comfortable and 1 intimate.

The interior has been refurbished without ruining its traditional atmosphere and pictures, photographs and drawings of old Bradford abound. There is a large sun-trap beer garden to the rear. Children are allowed in the bar until 5pm.
