Called in for lunch while out walking our husky. The food was excellent (my Wife had cod & chips & I had a chicken parmo) The staff were lovely & very dog friendly.
In Marske for a short break. Been in The Ship a few times. Friendly staff with good beer well priced. Had lunch in there and opted for the Parmo 2 portion sizes available. I chose the smaller one. Thank god . I can generally eat a large meal but finish mine . Very tasty . God knows what the large portion would be like . My wife had the small Gammon with fried egg which she thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend a visit . Thanks to all the staff
Stopped of for a swift pint have a long beach walk on a warm day. Lovely place. Loved the revolving doors to enter. Good bar staff and a lovely cold pint of Guinness.
We had a great stay! A lovely pub, good food and kinda next to the beach. A 10 minute walk from the railway station. Big room with on suit and a soft bed. Traffic can be noisy, if the window is open, but you can just close it, promise. Stairs, so you need to be able to walk them. Friendly staff, smiling and service minded. You all should try Marske and The ship inn! You can walk the beach to Saltburn, also a very nice town.
