About us

Come and enjoy our newly renovated beer garden and BBQ area, our indoor restaurant and newly created ‘snug’ area.

We welcome you to The Ship Inn Lerryn, a sixteenth-century inn which has always been at the heart of Lerryn’s community. The old slate floors and candlelight will remind you of the past, as will listening to the rich voices of the locals who still make their living from land, river and sea.

The Ship Inn Lerryn is the only pub in this magical creekside village, where the ‘catch of the day’ might arrive via a lucky fisherman, the local villagers strut their stuff in the summer review and everyone, simply everyone mucks about on the river.

After a long day exploring, come back to a warm welcome at The Ship Inn Lerryn, where you will have good service, locally sourced, homemade food and accommodation in our tastefully decorated rooms.

Dogs – all shapes, colours, sizes are welcome – must have good manners!.

Wonderful staff could not do enough for our party of 12. We had a lovely meal with hot plates which was great. Food was amazing and not much left on anybody's plate only those that could not eat it all. Thank you and very good value.

Went here for an evening meal, couldn't fault it. Tasty and good portion size. Very friendly staff, good choice of drinks and not expensive. Being the evening we didn't take advantage of the location, but it's close to the river in a lovely wooded valley with lots of good walks to work off the food.

Pleasantly surprised, found this pub by chance, friendly welcome, good ale and a lovely homemade steak pie. Definitely on our list of favourites👍👍👍

A nice relaxing pub very difficult to reach by public transport. We arrived on the once a week 482 bus that stops right outside from Lostwithial. Lovely Chesterfield sofas are there to relax in in the left hand room and the pub serves 4 well kept Cornish Real Ales. There is a nice sunny garden and at the bottom of the road towards the River Fowey there are stepping stones and and bridge to cross to the other side where there is a lovely path tho walk alongside the estuary.
