Ship Inn everything you want from a small local high street bar and lounge!! others bars think there good,but we do and no different! monday has a in house pool league every week from 8p,!! Tuesdays have a decent darts team winning 10 out of 15 leagues the past 3 years! thursday pool team is in local league and always a fun night!! Saturday horse nap club! nap club goes various trips to race courses in uk including perth, ayr ,kelso ,hexham Newcastle! we can also do and have small karaoke/discos on request!! various fundraising takes place for marie curie and diabetic charites, we have 3 large tvs and 2 legal sky boxes to keep all sports fans happy sky/bt/premier sports on and horse racing on atr and racing uk every day of week!! beer garden to rear of property is a super wee chill n suntrap! wee lounge is a great chill area to relax and listen to a great jukebox. pop in and see us soon and enjoy your high street pub 7 days a week!! 10am opening 6 days a week!!.

No food, just snacks, good local friendly pub.

Caters for the less fussy punter. Locals are decent enough but it really is very run down, bogs are a mess and the pub could do with letting some air in from time to time.

RIP Bob McEwan. He used to drink here and it's a nice place. Xxxx 2023 edit: still a nice place with happy memories of Bob and Pauline. Popped in today 20/07/23 xx

Service is good probably could do with 2 staff on sometimes,atmosphere is great lovely people.

Great night was had by all at the Willie Whitson memorial darts tournament hosted by the Ship Inn looking forward to next year a big thanks to Michael/ Emma and staff also Davie Sharp Nd Ryan Bell who made sure it went well
