Pub and eating house nestled between Faversham and Sittingbourne on the Kent coast. During the summer months the courtyard and garden is open offering panoramic views of the creek, marina and marshes across to the Swale. An extensice menu is available.
A nice pub that we visited as we passed through the area on a weekend hike. Okay prices, but its atmosphere was by far its strongest asset. We visited in the run up to Halloween, hence the seasonal photos. We didn't stop for food and the WiFi password also didn't work, which was a shame. The staff seemed to be aware, though, so could do with looking into it to boost customer satisfaction.
Most enjoyable visit last Sunday with my son and 9 year old grandson. Child's menu was excellent, my son and I took to the Burger and the whole food we had was excellent, so was the service and no long wait for our food, and very reasonable priced, atmosphere very pleasant, especially the gorgeous dogs that came and went, well done to all your staff. Regards Mr Derek Kdmp
Lovely garden and the perfect place to fuel up for cycling locally. We had Wild Boar hot dog and chips and mediterranean tart and chips and both were beautiful. Perfect place to sit and eat out in the sun.
Tucked away in the peaceful Hamlet of Conyer is this gem of a pub. The inside is definitely decent enough, but we like going there when the weather is warmer and sitting outside. We didn't eat during our last visit, but we looked at the menu and decided that we would return soon and try the food which looked appetising and seemed well priced. The Ship is surrounded by some incredible countryside and it is well worth exploring by bike or taking a walk around the area. It is a dog friendly pub and a lot of people stop off there whilst taking their dogs for walkies.
Lovely little pub and quaint beer garden which is a sun trap. Found the food a little expensive for what it was. The Ham Egg & Chips was exactly as it said on the tin. 2 thin slices of cold precut ham, frozen chips & 1 small egg. A little disappointing, but it was tasty and filled a hole. Was hoping for a nice cut of ham and homemade chips for the price paid + maybe 2 eggs? Either way, it was very clean, friendly and a pleasant place to be. The specials of the day looked exciting. Will probably go for that next time & there was a good kids selection.
