Lovely pub. Relaxed atmosphere. Doesn't serve food
Recommended in the Good Pub Guide, and rightly so. A choice of 5 excellent, well-kept ales, which I sampled using the five-beer platter. We visited twice whilst on a short break and will come back again. The service was friendly and welcoming. Monday night was especially good, as there was a music jamming session.
Best pub in Aberystwyth, staff are great, landlord/lady are lovely. By far the best real ale in Aberystwyth and a good selection of local gin and a nice range of whiskey
One of the best selections of real ale and beers in Aberystwyth. Old Rosie is the cloudy cider of choice here. On a stag do, they'll use half a pint of it to make a 'brain hemorrhage'. The other half is top shelf! They don't do food, so it's a drinking pub which is fine by me.
A traditional pub with pool table, music (live and Jukebox), proper beer and a few TVs for sports, a bit off the main strip but definitely worth a look. A regular haunt of my mates and I for several years now, a favorite for 'lesser' sporting events.
