I went to the Auctioneer for the first time with a party of friends for lunch on Tuesday. The place was packed! I would recommend booking. The food was good, with a reasonable choice including vegetarian. The service was excellent especially considering how busy it was.
We arrived and got a table at the end of a busy spell, really friendly staff behind the bar, server seemed a bit off but that didn't ruin our experience. We ordered the auctioneer sharer to start as pictured - great quality! The scampi, turkey dinner and turkey roll were amazing - great value for money and will definitely visit again!
My daughters wedding was held here . Gavin and his team pulled out all the stops before and during the big day . Nothing was too much trouble. 3 course meal delivered hot and delicious. Atmosphere brilliant.
Lovely meals, and generous portions of dessert. Excellent value and the staff can’t do enough to ensure satisfaction.
We hosted a “leaving do” as we are moving to the USA. I love that we were able to reserve a room for a small party of 30. The Auctioneer was also able to accommodate dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian). 10/10 would recommend this as a venue for parties and gatherings locally. The Auctioneer offered us the atmosphere and venue we needed, which other local pubs could not, without costing a fortune. The service was exceptional as well.
