First micropub in Chorley, multiple CAMRA awards. From sessions to stouts, and everything between.
Friendly and welcoming bar next door to the bus station. This was the first micropub in Chorley, opening at the beginning of August 2014 and now under new ownership.
Up to five beers are served, mainly from micro breweries from across the country, although a LocAle or two should normally be expected. To ensure a good range of ales, each pump will serve a distinct style of beer and a printed menu is produced showing what is coming up on each pump in the immediate future. 3 x third of a pint beer paddles are available and regulars can benefit from a loyalty card (buy 9 pints get 1 free)
Two ciders are also served - normally one traditional one and another being fruit flavoured.

Great beer selection and cozy space. Maturer crowd than other places nearby, but that's not to say boring!
Have visited this pub a few times over the past few months and it's always a pleasure to stop and enjoy a great pint in a nice cosy atmosphere like here. Good choice of beer too.
Jorvic was surprised to find out we came here in 2019. Seems like a lifetime ago. Bigger than I remember..or have they expanded? Has two bars now. Large corner room, room off to back and another room with the better real ale selection. Jorvic had an all time favourite; Loweswater Gold from Cumbria brewery. Yummy. Friday afternoon seems to be turn up and play music session. ( first and third Friday of the month.) Something like 24 - 30 musicians joining in. Accordians, fiddles, woidwind etc..even a harp turned up. They all seem to know the traditional tunes in a mega jamming session. Madge wanted to add percussion.
Great place with really helpful staff, great drinks and lovely atmosphere. The little room 2 space they reserved for our group was much appreciated.
Great find whilst wandering around Chorley on a Sunday afternoon. Could possibly describe the decor as traditional and industrial. There was a really good selection of real ales, plus cider, various wines, gins, and fresh coffee available. Friendly and helpful staff.
