The Shaston Arms joined the Hall & Woodhouse family in 2000 and whilst it may be small, it simply oozes traditional character and charm. Full of nooks and crannies and quirky features, the pub is known for its 70s and 80s music and chilled and relaxing vibe, ideal for a quiet drink with colleagues, family or friends.
Indeed the pub is not without its history, as ‘Shaston’ is the Dorset nickname for Shaftesbury mentioned in Thomas Hardy books and the walls of the pub are adorned with old pictures of the town, as well as the famous writer himself.
Today the pub services the needs of the local Media fraternity, as well as bustling Carnaby Street and is also a shrine for the rich and famous, with most notably Jude Law, Gwen Stefani, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Gok Wan and Frank Lampard having visited in recent times.

A real old school traditional pub just off Carnaby street, with lots of charm. Serves Badger beers which aren't so commonly found in London. Surprisingly we managed to find a seat which is very rare for an evening near to Christmas!
Cosy little pub with a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good range of beers available.
A decent old school pub in the backstreets of Soho just off Carnaby Street. It’s nice to have a pub not for the usual stables of central London too. The Shaston house lager was 4.2% and came in at £6.40 for a pint, so pretty average on the price side. Upon arrival everyone outside had plastic so if you want drinks in a glass pot for the he inside option. Staff were nice enough and was worth a visit.
Very cosy, beautiful inside. It's everything I expect a pub to look like. The ale is very well kept and served swiftly. The bar staff seemed excellent. The lime and chilli nuts are delicious!
Decent pub serving Hall & Woodhouse beers which makes a nice alternative to other venues in the area. Despite being busy we managed to get seating on a Saturday afternoon. Bar staff provided speedy service with a smile. Ideal venue to meet friends.
