The Shakey
is historically known to be the central hub of Totterdown. We are a pub for the local community, and aim to provide a warm welcome to all. We serve a range of local real ales, ciders and lagers and serve hot food daily, including our delicious roast dinners every Sunday.
We are dog friendly, have two lovely beer gardens perfect for when the sun's out, and a log burner inside for winter.
We are situated just south of the River Avon, close to Bath road and Wells road, and just a few minutes walk from Temple Meads railway station.

Nice chill pub. Strong selection of beers and the quiz on Tuesdays is good fun.

Great little pub. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks, great food and nice beer garden.
Had the tro roast all round very nice but the only thing I would say the beef was very chewy and over cooked for my liking
The Shakespeare provides the perfect pub experience one's looking for with sumptuous food and free flowing pints to liven up your Sunday Roast or frankly anyday of the week. It's also a very happening pub with music in the evenings and live events a few times during the week. I would definitely recommend it
