We were delighted with the atmosphere at the Shah when we first arrived. We were welcomed into the bar & quickly seated. The service was quick & friendly, a chap called Josh made sure we were always looked after, always smiling & very interactive. The food was great value for money, good portions & served piping hot. We look forward going back again soon.

Had an lovely meal here with my family! There was a lady named Jade who was amazing! Customer service was phenomenal, she interacted amazingly with the younger members of our party and very approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you Jade for making our experience enjoyable.

I always enjoy coming to the Shah of Persia pub in Poole, as they have a great selection of food and drinks and for affordable prices. Food, which their chef and other kitchen staff are preparing, is fresh and tasty. Their staff, in general, are hardworking, always very helpful, kind, and approachable. They always make sure that they deliver high quality of customer service. I would like to say a huge thank you to Millie, who has been looking after me multiple times, as I am a frequent customer here. Her friendly, kind, and highly approachable approach is always truly exceptional, and she always does her very best to help out with everything around the pub. Her colleague Carly is also hard working, doing her job thoroughly, has a good eye for detail, and makes sure everything is spotless. The pub manager, Jonathan, is also very approachable and friendly, humble, and respectful towards customers. Making sure the pub is spotless. I very much enjoy coming here, as the whole atmosphere is very homely, relaxing and calming when it is not busy, and when it is busy, it is full of happy customers with a positive energy. I also appreciate that this pub is always clean and tidy, including bathrooms, which I believe is important, as I don't like unclean pubs. So, for all the mentioned reasons and many more, I highly recommend this pub to everyone.

Small meals at costly prices, service was lacking any kind of personality. Kids meal was 1 sausage and cold peas. Really overpriced for what they served. Adult burger meal is very small in size with chips barely worth bothering with. Steak was overcooked had to be sent back. I'd heard good things but was sadly extremely disappointed
