Early drinks, so fairly quiet. Expected to see loads of pro-Scottish paraphernalia around the walls, but was left disappointed. Neck Oil was £7.50 per pint, which was a bit of a shock, but other pubs suggest Edinburgh is just a very expensive place for a drink. My local is £3.40
love it here! people are so nice & friendly
I always go to the Scotsman for a pint when in Edinburgh. No frills, just a bloody good pub, great bar staff and there is great music! 10/10
Scotland is known for it's scotch. Scotch pubs are all over and this one was a good one. So much fun, full of friendly locals. Live music every night. Im not a scotch fan but I love the local beer, so I’ll always enjoy a pint and I love the people here.
The Scotsman Lounge is one of several pubs on Cockburn St and is worth a visit. Decor is traditional one a small are is given over for live musicians - there were two in the short time I was there. There also several tables outside for when the sun shines. Good selection of cask conditioned ales and spirits. Can't comment on food as was in for a couple of beers before a curry! 😀 Service is nice and friendly.

We would describe the Arcade Bar as a Haggis Whiskey House, where we offer traditional Scottish food, warm atmosphere and over 100 different whiskey's on offer. Located in the heart of Edinburgh, this is the perfect Scottish experience
