Thank you very much for the lovely stay! The hotel is clean and cozy, ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Breakfast is very nice and service friendly. A special mention to Alison for making our stay so memorable and thank to all the staff of the Scarborough Hill Country Inn for making us feel at home!

Charming little hotel, set in a peaceful rural location near North Walsham, with extensive grounds. We used it as a base to explore North East Norfolk. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, although there were a lot of cushions! The staff at breakfast were friendly and able to address dietary requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to relax for a couple of days. Thanks.

In beautiful surroundings this hotel is fantastic. We stayed in The Stables and I can honestly say everything was perfect. We only stayed one night, would have loved to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

The driveway was in a terrible state until my road surfacing company agreed to resurface the entire length of driveway up to the main house. Unfortunately candice is less than honest when it comes to paying contractor's for work she agreed to and made the company an offer less than the original quoted price and when the works are completed and agreed satisfactory four days later decides to pay my company less the agreed discount price and also makes up feble excuses that see misplaced the invoice all an attempt at avoid paying for work she agreed to have done. Let this be a warning to any other company do not work for this woman or supply them with any goods. If you can't afford to pay people you should be honest and not enter into an agreement.

A hotel of 2 halves. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are lovely. Bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee great. Breakfast was tasty. Shower was good and towels fluffy. Funky fans for air. Great gardens - mostly - with swings and climbing frame. Had a lounge were you could sit and relax. However: We could hear every word from next door. Esp in the bathroom No extra security on bedroom doors. Just a lock. No chains for extra security. And since there was no-one on reception and the front door was open all night, it's a bit concerning. Light through curtains and door. Lots of light pollution, despite having black out curtains, the light from outside lit the room. And similarly through the gap in the door. The front door key: had a key but it didn't fit the front door lock. This is why we assumed front door was open all night so people could get in and out. Because, otherwise, you'd be locked out. No one on reception. And fellow guest said they never answered when he rang the phone numbers given. The mess outside: the remains of a marquee. Chandeliers, chairs, rubble and all. Not such a great view if sitting outside. No clock in room: petty one,but it would have been nice Very little water flow and so no hot water from tap in basin. In fact, it ran straight into the overflow pipe. No bar or restaurant, though we knew that prior to visit. Fire procedures: none posted on the doors or walls. This hotel has amazing potential. But at the moment it's just lacking those certain things that make it wonderful. Was it worth the cost for the room. Honestly, I would say no until things get put right.
