Fish and chips were delicious. Lovely pub. Takeaway service was fast.
Food really good value and well presented and above all really tasty and well cooked.Stopped on the off chance,staff really friendly and a lovely country pub overall.We didn't stay the night but will definitely be back
Lovely village pub. Can't comment on the food too much but the drinks are decent and the chips are delicious. Perfect little stop-off when on a walk. The staff are lovely as well 👍🏼
Great little spot, friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating for summer evening drinks. Nice rotation of guest ales. Food is on point. Sandford burger I had was lush. Would definitely come again.
We stayed here to attend a wedding and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast service was superb with tasty bacon plus LOTS of classic breakfast fare, so much so I didn't even notice the missing hash browns until the next day when the honest host confirmed he had just forgotten to serve them. A good place to stay.
