Welcome to the king of locals. The Samson Blewitt in Hednesford, Cannock, has everyone covered for food, drink and entertainment. We’re a proper community pub with lots going on, from fundraisers to live music and disco nights. A party pub with craft beers, lagers, bourbon, fizz, cocktails and bombs behind the bar. A pub you can bring the whole family to for Sunday lunch or your other half for a steak and a nice bottle of Fair Trade wine. A pub with beer gardens both at the front and back. And a sporty kind of pub with pool and darts that shows all the big matches on BT and Sky Sports. Everyone’s welcome, including the dog. We’ve got that friendly atmosphere and lively buzz that’s unique to local pubs. Come and join the family!.

Had a table of 22 people the service was exceptional. Staff very polite and professional. The food was amazing everyone who attended gave great feed back on the food. Would definitely recommend

The food is amazing. All the food came out together, even though we had 12 people. It was all hot and cooked properly. The staff are all friendly. We will definitely be recommending the place to everyone

The food is stunning. I had surf and turf today. It was the most perfect and juicy steak and the scampi was gorgeous. My friend had the mac n cheese. She adores it. I had the hot chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. Stunning!!! And my friend had the chocolate sundae. It was all incredible!! I also unfortunately had a seizure before ordering and the staff were brilliant. They called an ambulance and ensured I was OK. They were really understanding and kept checking I was OK throughout the meal. Thank you to the team. You are all wonderful x

As a pub it's great, got a cracking atmosphere and the service is great from the staff. For me the letdown is the food. The burger I had was ok but not great the meat was like rubber and the bacon was tough. The fish and chips while a big portion the batter wasn't great lacked flavour and was a bit stodgy. The pint of Guinness was poured properly and tasted great one of the very best around. Would come back for drinks but probably not for the food.
