A Beautiful Hotel and Spa, Excellent Breakfast and Evening meal. We used the Spa facilities, indoor pool was a good size and warm. Outdoor pool/jacuzzi was lovely and hot. We also had a Hot tub with our room (Awesome). There is parking for guests which is rare in Ambleside. Probably the best Hotel we have stayed in, looking forward to a return visit. 😀

Fantastic stay, really warm and comfortable good sized room, ideal to come back to at the end of the day. Perfect location so everything in the village is only a couple of minutes walk.

The hotel is my favourite in the Lake District, It’s in the middle of Ambelside with access to great walks, rides, shops, cinema and lots of other local attractions. It’s also central & allows great access to the rest of the Lake District. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The hotel feels very luxurious & makes you feel very relaxed, it is spotlessly clean & the new loft room, that we were lucky to stay in was the best, amazing, with your own private steam room, sauna & a massive jet bath for 2, with a TV in the bathroom as well as the bedroom. All spaces are beautifully decorated. There is also a small gym, lovely pool & spa area - steam room, sauna, indoor jacuzzi & outdoor jacuzzi with massage jets. The bar & restaurant is lovely and also serves an amazing breakfast. All good and we look forward to staying again. Many Thanks

Stayed for 2 nights this month and was more than happy with the hotel. The room was ok, don't think you could stay in it for a week but a couple of nights, perfect. Location was in the heart of the town and free car parking for one car. Breakfast was great, there were lots of choices, and I was even asked if I wanted another cooked meal. We only had an evening meal on one night, but that was good. Only one fault, and it was only small. We did ask for a 5 min break between starter and main, but it came straight away. Overall, the food service was great The spa, pool, etc. was clean and not busy Bar area was good, too Recommend you stsy

Great place to spend a relaxing weekend. Hot outdoors jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and swimming pool . The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and cosy.
