Great atmosphere great food and staff attentive. Highly recommended
Really popular pub for meals. Excellent quality, steak pie was rich with good chunks of meat. Chilli chicken had just enough spice. Booking essential at the weekend for both lunch and dinner.
Amazing wee place, cosy friendly and very accommodating. Booked a table for a meal a few times now and always left satisfied and happy. Generous portions for the prices. Ice cream is amazing 😋 100% recommend the sticky chicken. Good selection of cocktails and other drinks also.
I enjoyed my stay. Travelled by train. Shops, cafes and restaurant within short walking distance. I enjoyed seeing the Great Tapestry of Scotland. Also visited Melrose Abbey, I can understand why historians like to see historic constructions in person. No electronic calculators or computers to aid design and construction!
Enjoyed a very pleasant evening with old work colleagues. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious 😋 and at a very reasonable rate. I would recommend highly the sticky chicken. Still salivating at the thought of it. Well done The Salmon Inn
