We came over to here on the spur of the moment, my son had a table booking for two, then phoned and asked to increase it to four people👍 We have been coming here for years! It has always been a fantastic place to come and eat out, with quality food and a lovely atmosphere. It's generally a busy place, but more so with the build up to Christmas, with lots of work events being held in groups. There is a huge conservatory at the front end, which has seating, a middle bar section with nicely spaced tables. There is also a carvery area at the left hand side of the building too, all these are positioned around the central bar. This place is huge! Service was very prompt, there was so much choice from the menu, we had to have more time to choose!🤷♂️😆 We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Well it wasn't long before all our meals turned up😋 The size of the meals are very big, so make sure you have a great appetite! They did offer a take out box if we couldn't eat it all👍 There is a section of small meals to choose from, which is brilliant. The food was very tasty and great value, we were very impressed! This is a place to come and try, if you haven't been before👍 A huge car park here and some disabled access parking. Can't wait to come back and chose more from the menu😋😀
Stumbled upon Sally’s on route to another restaurant and decided to go here instead. The food and service were great. I would recommend booking as it was pretty busy so we were seated in one of the front walk in tables which can get chilly. The staff were really attentive and friendly, our orders were taken quickly and the food didn’t take too long to come out. We enjoyed our meals which were reasonably priced, tasty and good portion sizes. Would probably return if in the area.
First time here and was amazing. Definitely be going again. Wife had Turkey curry, I had the lamb shank. The lamb was so tender, fell off the bone. Veg cooked perfectly and the minty gravy completed it! Presented really well and massive portion. Had the fudge brownie for dessert, and seriously was the best dessert I've ever had! The service was outstanding, the food was quick out to tables, and the price.... so cheap compared to portion sizes and quality of food. Brandon was brilliant front of house, funny, hardworking and made us feel very comfortable.
Service was nice, but that's all I can possibly be positive about... Rib eye steak was cooked just perfectly at medium rare mark and presented nicely, but my initial thought was that it's Rump steak due to texture and flavour... It was rib eye, but the worst quality meat I have ever had... Peppercorn sauce without peppercorns 🤣🤣🤣 all in all disappointed and not planing to ever come back...
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sally Pussey's and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, my experience was fantastic. The breakfast was excellent. The portions were generous and the presentation was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict - it was delicious and the hollandaise sauce was spot on. Prices were very reasonable. Given the quality of the food and service, I was surprised at how affordable the prices were. It's clear that Sally Pussey's prioritizes customer satisfaction and doesn't want to break the bank. Overall, I highly recommend Sally Pussey's for breakfast. The food was great, the service was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely be back!
