4 of us went for lunch today and it was EXCELLENT ! Two of us had the Pork and two had the Steak Pie for mains with all four of us having the Bread and Butter Pudding for Dessert. The food was Exceptional, fresh ingredients, cooked well and at a very good price. The table service was prompt, professional and very pleasant. We all agreed it is now our go to place , a Huge improvement compared to the previous owner.
Good food awful service. Definitely waitress training required. We were there for my mums birthday and left after waiting nearly 30 minutes to order a desert and coffees when the place was as quiet. Wouldn’t go back, really disappointed.
Was recommended this pub by a plumber doing work on our house so although its somewhat out of our way we gave it a try. So glad we did as food and service was amazing. Lovely atmosphere. We will be returning soon. If driving their especially the dark it is very easy to drive past without seeing the pub as the neighbours hedges and tree obscure it.
Just had a takeaway lunch from The Sally and it was genuinely 10/10. Great value and the food was utterly fantastic. Been done out really nice inside and we'll be heading up ASAP for a full sit down meal.
Sunday lunch today under new management was perfect. Excellent service and tasty quality food from the new chef. Dog friendly with outside area to eat and drink. We are local and look forward to going back.
