Rusty Bike, located in Mile End, is a welcoming and friendly pub that serves delicious Thai cuisine. I have tried various dishes, such as vegetable Pad Thai, beef Pad See Ew and Singapore noodles with prawns, but my absolute favourite is the salt and pepper deep-fried squid with chips! The pub offers a spacious interior, an outdoor terrace, and regularly screens live sports events.
Have been here many times and the Thai food always hits the spot. Yeah, prices have gone up in recent years, but where hasn't it? The portions continue to be decent despite the hike. The squid is criminally addictive. Can recommend almost all the curries - specifically red or green curry, especially with prawns. Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew are great. Jantaburi Pad Thai will knock your socks off. Nice, chill pub with pleasant servers if not on the pricier side.
Lovely pub just outside mile end station,I had delicious platter for one and stir fried rice with prawns.both meals tasted like authentic Thai cooking. Only reason I give 4 🌟 instead of 5 is because they don't serve Thai beer and the cappuccino however tasty it was,was only warm..but apart from that,it's a lovely pub and full of nostalgia on the walls.well done ✔ 😀
Great place for live sports. There is no shortage of screens in the bar and in the area out back. Great selection of beers and added bonus of some tasty Thai food, too. All sports are shown, but football generally takes priority over other sports calendars. If you pay by card, just keep an eye on transactions, three times they claimed it hadn't gone through when it had. Last time, I got my bank to reclaim money as they were not helpful in resolving. Gets busy and first come, first served for food. Takeaway available.
First time coming here and it was fantastic, a really cozy pub with great food. We had the Thai Green Curry and it was just so delicious, with plenty of flavour and heat as well as a great mix of things inside, we opted for the chicken as the protein and paired it with an egg fried rice which went really well together. We also had tea to drink (as we got soaked from the rain) and it was also good. The staff were very quick to serve the food.
