We had a great lunch. It's dog friendlyand it was quiet on Monday lunchtime. We had pizza, salad and loaded fries. Salad and loaded fries were wonderful and pizza was alright. Dog had a sausage. Prices are reasonable. We enjoyed it.
An amazing place to spend time with your family and friends. This place has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. A beer garden is also available for bookings. The food was amazing. Cooked well, tasted well and was served in a decent time. The only things I did not like were the black, hard and burnt outer sides of the pizza. The cakes in the desserts too were very hard.
A group of us were on a golfing trip from Cheshire to St. Andrews and we came across this fantastic sports bar, excellent service, food very very good and an excellent range of beers and ciders, we only wish we'd have found The Rule earlier in our trip, you really need to give Wing Wednesday a go, absolutely fantastic, we will definitely return on our trip next year. Thanks again to the staff for a very warm welcome.
From the outside this place looks like it could be very small, but it does open up once inside. There are plenty of tables and chairs with some booths too. You get yourselves a seat then go up to the bar to place your order ( remember your table number), then pay, it's card or cash here. I noticed when paying for our order by card, the machine gives the option of adding a tip seems strange to tip before you get food and drinks. We ordered lattes haddock and chips and a beef pie. All the food that was served tasted really nice although it could of been warmer as with the lattes which were lukewarm. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy. Dogs are welcome here.
Dog friendly. Awesome ‘Secret garden’ out the back with covered booths for a good Coronavirus safe drinking session. Food is fairly basic but tastes great and is super value. Great bar, lively atmosphere, full of students even in the middle of January. Get in early if you want a table! Great selection of beers and wines, disappointing cider selection though. Reasonably priced, will be back for sure.
