We have 6 en-suite rooms available including a triple room and a family room. With such beauty in the area and so many attractions to visit you have to stay over just to get the best out of your visit.
Our kitchen team work hard to bring you the best of traditional pub food. We only use top quality produce and where possible it is always locally sourced. As we make our food onsite we are completely flexible on our dishs and are always willing to try and adjust a dish to suit any dietary requirements you may have.

We stayed at this old hotel on 13 and 14 September. On the plus side the staff were all attentive and cheerful and the rooms were clean. On the down side there were many areas of the hotel which were somewhat shabby. The Landlord has only been there since May 2023 and is working his way through a long list of matters where improvements are needed. We wish him luck.
Service was good, the staff very pleasant and helpful. The food was great, Ribblehead Bitter was a nice pint. It made a pleasant change to have rock music as the background instead of the usual dross. I enjoyed my visit and will return when next in the area.
Lovely atmosphere. Happy staff. Lunch on Bank holiday Monday. Comfortable, not too busy. Chicken tikka with rice AND chips. Real ale to wash it down. Recommended. In town for a couple of days so I will be back.
Large clean comfortable room. Lots of noise from boy racers in street out front. Helpful friendly staff but a below average quality breakfast sadly. Needs to up the quality of products usd- bacon, sausage etc.
Went in for a meal a few weeks ago. Very nice dining area. Loads of space and choice of tables. Nice and warm as well. Staff very friendly. Ordered the mixed grill. It wasn't the best quality I must admit but for under a tenner I wasn't expecting it to be. No complaints from me. For the price is was great value for money and if in the area would visit again.
